The Ranger 2 houses a 1/2.7″ Progressive CMOS sensor that streams crisp 3 MP (2304 × 1296) 2K video at up to 25/30 fps, using H.265/H.264 compression to minimize bandwidth and storage demands. A 3.6 mm fixed lens provides a 93° horizontal and 115° diagonal field of view, while its motorized gimbal enables 0°–355° pan and –5°–80° tilt, ensuring no blind spots in your home.

Equipped with infrared LEDs, the camera delivers clear night vision up to 10 m, maintaining visibility in complete darkness. Its built-in AI distinguishes human shapes from other motion, drastically reducing false alarms; Smart Tracking automatically follows moving subjects to keep them centered in the frame. When you’re home, Privacy Mode physically hides the lens with a single tap in the Imou app.

Two-way audio with echo cancellation lets you communicate in real time via the integrated microphone and speaker—perfect for greeting visitors or checking in on pets. In case of an intrusion, remotely activate the built-in siren to scare away unwelcome guests. For storage, you can insert a microSD card (up to 256 GB), connect to any ONVIF-compatible NVR, or opt for Imou Cloud’s secure 30-day free trial to back up footage offsite.

The Ranger 2 connects over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11 b/g/n) with an open-field range of up to 50 m.
